Tom McCallum
Tom is passionate about the power of Shirlaws Business Coaching to transform businesses and the lives of business owners, leaders and staff. As a client of Shirlaws Cayman put it to him : “I truly believe in what Shirlaws brings to clients. They represent the first way I’ve seen for owners to fall back in love with their business”.
Born in Scotland and qualifying there as a Chartered Accountant, Tom moved to the Cayman Islands in 1989 and thrived in the highly entrepreneurial and dynamic Cayman economy. His career led him to the role of Group Commercial Director for a family owned group of international businesses, where his wide ranging and often changing role gained him exposure to and experience in developing many types of businesses at many stages and sizes.
Tom then moved on to running his own international business advisory firm when, in 2010, he was was introduced to Shirlaws. He quickly recognized that joining Shirlaws offered great synergies in adding value to growing businesses by utilizing his range of experience and expertise in tandem with and through the unique Shirlaws Business Coaching hybrid model.
In addition to his passion for introducing and using Business Coaching to businesses in Cayman and beyond, Tom is also equally passionate about offering his time and passion to his community, currently serving as President of the Cayman Islands Amateur Swimming Association, a highlight among a range of past and current voluntary roles.
Kristen Ford
Kristen began her journey in personal growth and development in early 2009. She fell in love with the world of transformational education after experiencing the differences this unique methodology made in her life and the lives of others.
After three years in this field, she chose to be trained as a professional coach because of the quantifiable difference that this work makes in people’s lives. She is committed and passionate about coaching, and in using her training and skills to make a difference in her home of the Cayman Islands.
Kristen brings over 10 years of travel and professional experience in hotel, marketing, event planning and leadership training. This experience brings with it strong recognition of the importance of individualized customer service, creating and maintaining customer relationships, the ability to work effectively in different environments and the value of creating results based on partnership, listening, and communication.
At Shirlaws we believe deeply in the power of teamwork. Our global structure and IT and communications platform allows us to leverage the unique skills and experiences of our coaches worldwide to allow clients to benefit from specialists in every area of their business growth.
